How to Reach there
By Air: Tatanagar is connected with Calcutta which in turn is
connected to major cities in India.
By Rail: Tatanagar Railway Station located on Howrah-Mumbai
line, is the rail head.

Steel City
Jamshedpur, also
called Tatanagar is just 140 kms from Rancho. Both the names
come from the legendary Jamshedji Tata. It was his vision
that saw Bihar in the steel map of world so long back. Iron
ore found in the area made Jamshedpur the idle location for
a steel plant. Jamshedpur has a number of tourist
attractions too. |

Jubilee Park
A replica of the
famous Brindavan Gardens of Mysore, it is spread over 225
acres. flower beds dot the place turning it into multihued
spectacle. The illuminated fountains add to the magnificent
sight. Every year tourists come on to watch the resplendent
fountains lighting up the skies the birth anniversary of the
founder of Tata Empire Jamshedji Tata. |

Constructed as a
water reservoir for the Tata Steel plant and the city, its
salubrious surrounding is ideal for outing. |

Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary
Acting as
a natural air conditioner to the fuming steel city and an
important source of fresh oxygen, Dalma Mountain Range is at
an altitude of 3000 feet. Its steep slope is a trekker’s
delight. Hiding in its thick jungles (193 sq. km.) are
elephants, barking deer, sloth beer, porcupines, leopard,
tigers etc. Espy the wild animals in their natural habitat
from the small hideouts. Or climb the mountaintop for a look
at the city .The spectacular sight positively glitters at
night as millions stars twinkle. There’s also a temple of
Hindu deity Shiva on the mountaintop. |

KEENAN STADIUM This cricket stadium is one of the finest
in the country. TATA FOOTBALL ACADEMY is India's
first football academy with an ultra modern gymnasium and a
hostel in the sports complex. JRD TATA SPORTS COMPLEX

international size football ground with an eight-lane
monosynthetic track. Facilities for handball, volleyball,
hockey and table tennis and a modern gymnasium are top class
